Nepika (“we,” “our,” “us”) provides AI-powered insights and tools that use computer vision, emotional analysis, and content generation technology. Your privacy is central to how we design our systems. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, how we protect it, and the choices you have.

This Privacy Policy applies to the Nepika mobile application, website, and any related services (“Services”).

1.3 Face Data & Biometric Processing

Nepika provides features that use temporary facial analysis to generate insights. We treat facial information with the highest level of protection.

1.3.1 What Face Data We Process

  • Temporary image frames from your device camera
     

  • Temporary facial landmarks, expressions, or attributes extracted by the model

We do NOT collect or create:

  • Faceprints
     

  • Biometric identifiers
     

  • Identity recognition templates
     

  • Any persistently stored facial profiles

1.3.2 Face Data Is Not Retained

All face data is processed ephemerally (real-time only) and is never stored on our servers or on your device after processing.

1.3.3 Why We Process Face Data

Face data is processed solely to: - Generate instant insights related to appearance, emotional state, or content enhancement
- Display results back to the user immediately

Face data is never used for identification, authentication, surveillance, tracking, advertising, or profiling.

1.3.4 Retention Duration

We retain zero biometric data. Data is discarded immediately after in-session processing.

If a feature optionally supports sending anonymized numerical metrics for model improvement (disabled by default): - These values cannot reverse-engineer a face.
- Users may opt out and delete this data anytime.

1.3.5 Third-Party Processors for Face Data

We do not share raw face data with advertisers, analytics companies, or unrelated partners. If facial analysis requires remote compute, we may use a secure cloud processor such as AWS, Google Cloud, Azure, or our own inference servers.

These providers: - Only process image frames in real time
- Are contractually prohibited from storing face data
- Delete data immediately after producing results

1.3.6 Do Third Parties Store Face Data?

No. Third-party processors used by Nepika do not store, retain, or reuse face data.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use collected information to: - Provide and personalize the app experience
